Pastor Hopes New Bulletin Covers Will Spark Revival

BABBLERS PRESS - From the coloured picture of the church on the front to the space for sermon notes on the back, the new bulletin covers for Faith Community Church look they were delivered straight from the printing presses of heaven itself, according to the church's Pastor.

"They're simply beautiful," said the pastor, who was beaming with pride after the family worship service Sunday morning. "Several people made positive comments about them. If this doesn't lead to revival then I don't know what will." 

The pastor admitted that the bulletins were printed at a local print shop "and did not literally come from heaven," but insisted the paper sheets contained many heavenly qualities. Members of the congregation agreed.

"I've never seen anything like it," said one long-standing member. "I feel closer to God because of the bulletins. I don't remember the pastor's message on Sunday morning but I can't get the picture of the church (on the front cover) out of my head. It doesn't even look like our church. It looks.....photoshopped. It's amazing. And the feel of the paper in your hands is simply out of this world." 

Meanwhile, the church board has asked the pastor to preach shorter messages to allow more time for church announcements. The pastor said he couldn't be happier to comply. "It's time churches realized that solid biblical teaching and expository sermons are pointless without state-of-the-art bulletin covers," he added. "It's time we started focussing on the things that really matter."
