Depressed Christian Baffled by Lack of Interest in His Jesus

BABBLERS PRESS - Sullen and displeased as usual one local Christian can't understand why his neighbours rarely show the slightest bit of interest in his faith despite his many attempts to share it. 

However, a couple of neighbours came forward to shed some light on the issue. One neighbour said she always felt happy in her life and didn't want to be "depressed like her Christian friend next door". "I don't think I have ever seen the guy smile" she said. "It's almost like he has a chip on his should or something, like he's angry at the world." 

Another neighbour said he gets confused by some of the Christian's language. "One time he came up to me and started talking about blood sacrifice or something and it just seemed kind of weird and gross," he said. 

The Christian admitted that he struggles with depression but fails to see any connection between evangelism and the fruit of joy. "I have to share my faith," he said. "It's my duty. My personal struggles are between me and God."

Meanwhile, the Christian is doubling up his bible reading time, prayer time, and church attendance in the hopes of "pleasing God more."
